Sometimes, the safety clip attached to your spa cover strap needs replacing. Here are 3 easy to follow steps to help you do it yourself.
Step 1:
Carefully create an opening (approximately 1/4” wide) on the male side of the safety clip using heavy duty wire cutters. Be sure not to cut through the vinyl strap.
Step 2:
If necessary, remove the old clip.
Step 3:
Slide the strap onto the new opening. Note: you may need to fold the strap in half to get it in position. It can be tricky!
